Comments:

A very popular small tree because of its attractive foliage and autumn coloours. Prefers well-drained soils but is adaptable to a wide range of soil types. Performs best in shade and should avoid planting in areas with hot summer winds to avoid stress on the tree and scorched leaves. The Acer palmatum is a great specimen tree and is suitable for gardens where space is restricted.
