Habit & Growth rate: Moderate growth rate. The Pyrus betulaefolia ‘Southworth Dancer’ exhibits and ovate/Pyramidal growth habit.

Foliage: The Pyrus betulaefolia ‘Southworth Dancer’ displays shiny pale green leaves that have serrated margins. New growth emerges as silver/grey leaves and in autumn they change to shades of yellow. A number of white flowers will bloom in spring in groups of 8-10.

Comments:

The Pyrus betulaefolia ‘Southworth Dancer’ performs best in full sun. The ‘Southworth Dancer’ will tolerate drought, dry conditions and air pollution once it is established. This flowering ornamental pear is a great feature tree because of its attractive flowers and form.
