Habit & Growth rate: Dominant leader tree with a oval to rounded form. Typically uniform growing tree with dense lateral branching and moderate to fast growth rate.

Foliage: The deeply lobed leaves are rich green in colour changing to bright red in the autumn.
Small insignificant red flowers.

This is a well structured tree and adapts to a wide range of soil and climate conditions. It is extremely popular due to its autumnal foliage and the wide range of uses it can be selected for. The Acer x freemanii 'Jeffersred' 'Autumn Blaze' is ideal for street tree plantings, park spaces, home gardening and feature trees as well as avenue plantings.
