Habit & Growth rate: The Prunus cerasifera ‘Oakville Crimson Spire’ is a moderate growing plum tree. It has a fastigiated form with branches that grow parallel to the main trunk.

Foliage: The Prunus cerasifera ‘Oakville Crimson Spire’ displays attractive reddish-bronze foliage when young, and later matures into darker shades. In early to mid spring clusters of white flowers are present, they soon change to a pale pink with pink/red stamens.

Comments:

The Prunus ‘Oakville Crimson Spire’ performs best when positioned in full sunlight and placed in well-drained moist soils. It will flower best when in full sun exposure.
Perfect to be used in tight spaces and small gardens because of its fastigiated form. The Prunus cerasifera ‘Oakville Crimson Spire’ makes for a good screening tree because of its dense foliage.
