Habit and Growth Rate: Considered slow growers, can grow as tall as it does wide, responds well to pruning to contain a required shape or be grown with a single leader.

Foliage: Evergreen tree with “olive green” foliage with a silvery underside

Comments: Excellent evergreen tree that is fruitless making it ideal for a street tree planting or in the landscape, without the problem of fruit dropping on vehicles or pathways. Olives are ideally suited to the urban environment they are long lived, small in stature, and are easily pruned. Will tolerate most soil profiles and long periods of dryness. Not suited to heavily compacted soils or water logging.
